Every Revolution of the Wheel

For anyone who might be in the area, on Saturday, July 30, I will be holding an exhibition of some of my spinning wheels. It will be from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Holmes-Hendrickson House in Holmdel, New Jersey. This is one of the houses held by the Monmouth County Historical Society. We will have over two dozen wheels in display, demonstrations and lessons in drop spinning and wheel spinning, and lots of other fiber fun. Please come see us!

I am looking for an Indian head or Salish spinner–do you sell your wheels, or can you direct me as to how to find a great one?
    Thanks so much.

  2. Have you been on the Antique Spinning Wheel group on Ravelry? The big spinners turn up there; you can post and say you are looking for one. Are you after just the head type that mounts to a treadle sewing machine body, or a full wheel like a Sharples? Craigslist is another place to look — that is where I found my Mud Valley Spinner. The seller was willing to ship from British Columbia!
